Question Posted by a customer
Hello. I have been trying to get the correct front struts for my car. I have ordered a couple of sets and they are too long for my car. I think I have the sports suspension. Can you confirm these will fit on a 2009 E90. VIN is WBAPK73539A449573. Strut I removed has PN 31316780194 on the right side. Thank you

The correct front struts for your application are 31316780193 and 31316780194

I got these installed on my 2006 bmw 330xi sport with the staggered 18" wheels. Car is way to high in the front now. I put the same Bilstein line to replace rear shocks mounts bump stop and all. Why is the front so much higher
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These struts are designed for use with factory style springs and perform similarly as an OEM alternative to Genuine struts. The ride height is unaffected by this setup.

I have a BMW 2008 328xi. Do these struts fit at the rear or front? Or doesn’t matter?..
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This is a front strut assembly kit and will only fit the front of the vehicles listed in the fitment guide.

I have a 2013 f30 335i on H&R sport springs on stock struts when driving over dips or bumps the front seems to hit the fender would these help resolve the issue of rubbing and can k use them with H&R springs?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These struts are designed for use with factory-style springs so they would be very similar in setup to what you have now. Inspect your shocks to make sure they are not damaged/leaking to verify the shock isn't underperforming while going over bumps and imperfections in the road.
Question Posted by a customer
Is there a full strut assembly available for 2006 bmw 330xi. ( with the coil spring already assembled with it) Thank you
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No. It's not possible due to several coil spring variations depending on vehicle options installed from the factory. Many "quick struts" use a standard spring which is generally a major compromise.
Question Posted by Collin
What is the size of the nut on the top of the strut?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
19mm.
Question Posted by Collin
What springs will work with these? I have an e92 335xi. I would like to replace springs as well.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These struts are designed for use with factory style springs which require for us to look them up using the last 7 of the vehicle VIN to match them up. Please email the last 7 of the VIN to service@fcpeuro.com so we can assist you further.
