If your X3's rear suspension is feeling a little tired or you are hearing knock sounds while traveling over bumps it is likely time to start looking into replacing the rear suspension pieces. If your rear shocks are indeed worn out or the shocks mounts are cracked then this kit is ideal for you. When replacing the rear shock assemblies it is also recommended to replace all of the related pieces to ensure a long service life along with proper vehicle performance.

Suspension Shock Absorber Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

Great kit
Great kit. I did both the front struts/springs and rear shocks/springs on my 2006 X3 and could not be happier. Lots of DIY videos available on the web. Make sure you you disconnect the rear swaybar on both sides if you are replacing the rear springs too. Once I did that, swapping the springs was easy.

Quality parts, easy install
This upgrade is a must, especially if you have worn, original parts still installed on your X3. I expected a really harsh ride & was surprised on how comfortable these were. This kit also goes well with the H&R lowering springs & their front strut kit (read my review on them).
