The BMW S65 and S85 engines will go down in history as some of the most engaging and pure production-car engines ever made. However at the time of their production, BMW thought no different when styling the E9X and E60 engine bays - using plastic covers and galvanized steel grey bolts. We're here to recognize and compliment the clean design of these engines, with stainless valve cover hardware designed in-house.

Unlike the factory hardware, these stainless valve cover bolts are much less susceptible to corrosion. They also featured a smooth rounded head to match the design prior BMW engines. These replicate the original captured functionality of the OEM hardware with a threaded sleeve. Once this sleeve is threaded on, these may be installed just like factory bolts. NRW silicone valve-cover grommets are highly recommended.

Torque to the original valve cover bolt spec by hand (6Nm). The use of impact guns with chrome sockets may damage the hardware finish.
