Radiator

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

I bought this for my 2016 x5 xdrive 35i but it’s not really fitting perfectly did I do something wrong wrong or did I bought the wrong radiator

There was a production date split in 2016 for the X5 that means a different radiator may be necessary. Give our service team a call with your VIN number and we can verify fitment for you and help you get the right one if this is incorrect for your application.

Will this fit into a E92 335i N55 engine bay? I see the plastic has been replaced with aluminum which is awesome because that’s a common failure point and that’s what I’m trying to fix but I’m curious if it’s only for the X5 and X6 because it’s bigger then the 335i N55 engine bay can handle maybe or something? Moral of the story is will it fit into the engine bay of a 2013 E92 335i N55?

No, CSF makes specific radiators for your 335. CSF 7045 for manual cars, CSF 7046 for automatic cars.
