Product Information

All new turbocharged BMW engines use a direct fuel injection system which directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber. This differs from a port injection system which injects fuel into the intake side of the engine through the intake manifold. Direct injection fuel systems operate at significantly higher pressure than a conventional port injection fuel system. Due to the design, the engine really relies heavily on a properly operating fuel system. If your BMW is suffering from misfires or has a rough idle it can be due to faulty fuel injectors.

BMW has redesigned this fuel injector numerous times to address failure points. This injector is the most recent design. Due to this redesign, it is absolutely vital to inspect the index number on your existing fuel injectors. The index number can be found on the head of the injector after the BMW part number. An example of this is 13537585261-11 where "11" is the index number. Injectors with index 10 and lower have a different calibration and construction than injectors with an index of 11 or higher. Due to this difference, injectors with 10 or lower cannot be mixed with injectors of 11 or higher and should not be installed in the same cylinder bank. FCP highly recommends replacing all fuel injectors at the same time on modified vehicles for the best performance.

Note: When installing new injectors a calibration must be carried out. The adjustment value must be read off the injector before installation and noted. This adjustment value will be needed later on when the calibration is carried out. The injector has a protective cap on the tip of the injector which keeps the tip clean from contaminants and keeps the viton seal compressed. Leave this cap in place just prior to installation as the seal will expand making installation impossible without the special dies to compress the seal.

Do Not Buy!
I purchased 2 different times and both injectors took a shit, they both leak on start up every single time. I have a hybrid 19t twin n54 335 and I cant make boost without constantly dealing with cylinder misfire, Injectors were pissing fuel... tried 2 different tuners and took it to 3 different shops and got the same consensus from all of em. Do Not purchase these injectors!

PRICE
The price jumped from 351 last week to 470 this week. This is ridiculous. These injectors were supposed to be replacing the geniune BMW at cheaper price. THATS CRAZY 120 INCREASE IN A WEEK

Part Order
Fast Shipment and Great Pricing! Definitely will continue to do business with FCP. Also, I did an earlier review on a BMW LED DRL Module, That is actually a 5 STAR review. I reviewed the wrong company. It was another company who shipped me a used and opened part. So my apologies!! We ended up buying a replacement through FCP that was quicker and cheaper!! Lesson learned, always check with FCP before anyone else. FCP, I apologize for the bad review, that was not for you! :( You are an awesome company and will always continue to do business with you.

Question Posted by Martin
I can return my old index 12 and get a partial refund from the core ?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
There is no additional core cost on these. Core costs are in addition to the price of an item when applicable, not part of the cost.
Question Posted by Jarrett
Just to clarify once and for all, What is everything I need to change the N54 injectors, of which, what is included with this product, and what are additional tools/items I will need to buy? Thanks in advance!
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
You will need one decoupling element per injector you are replacing: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-decoupling-element-13537564751 We have an N54 injector pulling tool here as well: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-n54-n63-s63-injector-puller-seal-installer-baum-b130270kplus
Question Posted by a customer
Are these brand new injectors. Or are these just manufactured?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These have no core charge and are new injectors.
Question Posted by Miguel
Just to be clear these injectors have the seal already installed? Just have to remove the cap and install them?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Yes the seal will be included, however the decoupler element is sold separately and that is available listed below. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-decoupling-element-13537564751
Question Posted by Quincy
I was wondering if you can lower the price back to yesterday’s price I was going to order them today, conveniently…
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Unfortunately we cant change the current price at this point. Prices are always subject to change based on market conditions we are experiencing. However, if you contact our service team they may be able to provide some sort of discount to your order to help with the cost.
Question Posted by MUNY
Hello just want to make sure does the injector or injector kit of 6 come with the end cap and o ring seal? Cheers
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Yes, this will include the Teflon seal with a cap over it.
Question Posted by Roberto
Are these just as good as the OEM? I don't see any reviews on them.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This would be the OE injector, Vitesco/VDO manufacture the original BMW injectors.
Question Posted by a customer
Could I send back my fuel injectors for a core refund?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No, there is no core incentive offered on this injector.
Question Posted by Anthony
it might be a dumb question but is this the set or is it just 1 fuel injector?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These are sold individually.
Question Posted by Shayne
Do these come with decouplers and seals?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Seals, yes, but no decouplers. We have kits available separately that include decouplers.
