If you are experiencing pulsating through the brake pedal, grinding sounds, or there is a lip on your rotors it is likely time to replace them. When replacing brake rotors it is imperative to replace them in matched pairs for the best performance and service life of your braking system.
Sold Individually
Commonly referred to as a Brake Disc or a Brake Rotor, these components play a vital role in your braking system. When applying the brake pedal, this produces hydraulic fluid pressure which then transfers the pressure from the pedal through your braking system and into your brake calipers. The caliper pistons then apply pressure against your brake pads squeezing them inward against your brake rotors ultimately causing friction and stopping the vehicle. Brake rotors are a regular maintenance item which requires either servicing by means of machine work, or most commonly replacement when they become too thin, pulsate, glaze, or grind from worn-out brake pads. It's recommended to replace the brake pads and rotors at the same time.

Love these rotors
It's been over a year since I installed these Zimmermann rotors on a hard driven BMW 335 and here is my updated review: Stopping power is the same as the OEM ATE rotors and the wear seems to be the same.....Virtually no wear after 10,000 miles. Brake dust is non existent but that might be more to the Akebono brakes then anything else and the car is quiet on the road, However my one negative is the rust coating is not as good as the OEM ATE rotors I had for 9 years.
Discs fit well but there is only one part number available. I didn't consider the aesthetics of this when I ordered. Now one rotor looks like its installed backwards.
I installed these a few months ago and they have been exceptional. I replaced very good ATE rotters that lasted 9 years.
installed and eval is now ongoing, wearing fine very low miles , installed ECS Bronze bushing caliper upgrades, as original rotors were grooved due to wear and tear high miles 75 k, calipers pins were ungreased, calipers pad ear had begun to wear a spot in caliper bracket after only 4 years,dry sooty,original rotors were not wearing well and due for replacement,
Installed frt drilled rotors about 1 month ago on X1 to correct vibration & mated to textar pads. Broke in as per instructions and problem seems to be corrected.
Great quality item. No fit issues. Look great and feel great when stopping.
I ordered a pair of these and since these are drilled, but only have a single part number, I assumed the drill pattern would be non-directional. Unfortunately, it's a directional pattern and the passenger side will look correct, but the driver's side will look like it's mounted backwards. I would've purchased something else had I known or if there were pictures with the listing. Something to consider before buying. I'll get them installed this week and if they don't perform as expected, I'll update this review.

Yes. These Zimmermann Sport rotors use Zimmermann’s Coat Z anti-corrosion coating, which protects the rotor hat, edges, and other non-friction surfaces from rust. There is no notable difference in weight. Construction of the rotor is identical so there is no weight benefit of drilled vs non drilled.
