Comprehensive kit that includes a new power steering reservoir, all hoses, and required hardware including washers for the banjo fittings

Hydraulic power steering systems require regular inspection for leaks. The system relies on a constant supply of clean hydraulic fluid which can be interrupted when there is a leak in the system.

In addition to checking for leaking power steering hoses it's also critical to replace your power steering reservoir with every system flush. The power steering reservoir includes an integrated filter which cannot be replaced separately.

When refilling your BMW's power steering system please take note of the color of the fluid fill. A yellowish fluid fill indicates a CHF11S fill and red fluid indicated an ATF/DEXIII fill. Please order the correct fluid for your vehicle separately.

Needs some quality control work.
This is not a reflection of FCP, however this brand of hoses has not been good to me. I put this kit on my e36 about a year ago and already the return lines are leaking from the crimped sections. Rein pre-2020 I remember being a relatively reputable brand, however I fear that may have changed. Maybe you will have better luck, but I recommend at least getting OEM return hoses.

why not include all 4 banjo bolts
Look at the picture and description...........yes it shows 3 banjo bolts.........but look at the hose ends - THERE ARE 4 BANJO FITTINGS! Why wouldn't 4 banjo bolts be included? I even called before ordering and mentioned other reviews had listed same thing.......was told 'everything is in the kit that you need for a complete replacement' ..........well, it isn't. And no, it is not a big deal - just worth noting. That, and FedEx sucks - sits in the same city (Portland ) to be delivered for 3 days before being delivered.

Missing banjo bolt
I was really impressed with the quality of kit and happy how it fit. However the power steering system has a total of 4 banjo bolts, the kit only including 3. I ended up reusing 1 of the better looking old ones with the new provided washers. Weird how there’s 4 sets of washers but three bolts.

good, not great.
Did not include all banjo bolts, and one of the bolts included had ruined threads, I reused most of what I had. The reservoir caught a leak 2 months after install. Has a weep around seam. Not sure if installer error or manufacturer defect.

This kit was missing one of the larger banjo bolts. No problem to re-use one of them. Everything else was perfect.

Which kit should I get if I have an E36 M3 but am swapping in a Z3 rack?

I believe this should work ss long as you are keeping the E36 M3 pump/reservoir/cooler routing and only swapping in the Z3 rack. The pressure hose 32411141953 is listed for E36 M3 and Z3 M applications.
