About AGA
All German Auto, or AGA, is all about cars and so is the owner and operator, Martin Christensen. Martin was born and raised in Denmark and grew up helping out in his dad's automotive shop. The shop was connected to their home, so it was only natural for Martin to tag along with his dad all day long learning everything about cars from hands-on experience, and so the love for cars and racing was started! In January 1991 Martin moved to the United States to start All German Auto together with his older brother, Hans. Both Hans and Martin have earned automotive degrees in Denmark and added experience by working for other automotive shops specializing in German cars. All German Auto opened its doors in February 1991 in a one-bay two-lift facility. By solely focusing on German cars such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi and VW along with hard work and dedication, All German Auto quickly built up a solid clientele base.
By building the business on this sound foundation of customer service and quality work, All German Auto soon outgrew their facility and moved to the current 20-bay location on 1327 Simpson Way in January 1998. Today they continue to specialize in European automotive sales, service as well as develop automotive tools for other enthusiasts and repair facilities.
Questions & Answers
Ask a question
will it work on 2001 ML55 with original BOSE system
No, this will not work directly with the original Bose system in a 2001 ML55. It requires an existing 3.5 mm AUX input and USB power source, so an additional radio interface or aftermarket AUX input would need to be installed first.
I have an 08' with Bluetooth phone calls but no music connectivity. This appears to just hook into the factory aux location in the center console and I'll be able to stream music through the cars "aux" source? Just want to confirm before purchasing.
How do I install this in my 2003 BMW e46 330i?
Depending on your configuration there are a few ways to get aux input if your vehicle did not come equipped with it. This will depend on the equipment specific to your vehicle. I would suggest giving us a call or sending this request to service@fcpeuro.com if you need assistance locating the correct item to accomplish this so we can dive into your configuration together.
If your vehicle is equipped with nav, for example, this kit should do the job to add aux if not present -

If you have aux present, this is as simple as plugging one end into the device and the other into the aux port, then connecting to the device via bluetooth for audio connectivity.
My 2013 bmw 135i has Bluetooth phone, will this allow for BT audio and for me to use my steering wheel to skips and playback songs?
This will allow the use of Bluetooth connection to play audio via the aux input in the center console. This will not enable connection of the steering wheel controls to control the phone. You will need to use the controls on the device playing the audio. You will need to look into add on style dashtop android units or a head unit upgrade to enable this type of functionality.
Will this work with a 12 volt usb "cigarette" adapter plug? BT unit plugged into the adapter, into the power source, and the aux port cable plugged in to the unit and car?
I see no reason this would not work, the car is not receiving audio through the usb, it gets it from the aux coming out of the Bluetooth receiver. All usb 12v adapters use a buck converter to reduce from 12-14v dc down to 5v for usb. This is, however, not how AGA advertises this product being used and you may encounter issues with feedback/audio quality because of noise from the car electrical system that might otherwise be managed by an internal usb port connected directly to the radio.
Will this work with my '08 M3? CCC I-Drive :(
Does have the USB and AUX input.
As long as you have both an USB and AUX input yes, you will be good to go.
How would this be connected to a Volvo 850?
This would require an aftermarket head unit with a USB connection in order to work in your vehicle, as your 850 does not come with factory USB ports for a connection to this dongle.
Do I need the usb and aux on the same module? My car only has the AUX on the module in center console.
Yes, it would require both.
