Do I need a BMW mechanic to install?

We have a video linked showing how this is installed. Someone familiar with vehicle electronics is going to be needed to install this correctly, whether that is a BMW mechanic or not is dependent entirely on how familiar/comfortable they are bypassing vehicle systems.
