Everything needed in one kit!
Happy it's done but as we all no for these older volkys it's one thing after another. I recommend this kit *PLUS the tools they offer to do a complete job.

quality parts
I was pleased to see the metal impeller on the water pump. The hydraulic belt tensioner was of high quality; the pin in the shaft was better gauge the special 'tool' I bought separately. Continental belts are the best. the HTN bearings (idlers) are what was OEM on my car. New bolts were even included where applicable! Suggestion: perhaps make a way for customers to "build" their own kits by choosing different brands for certain components. In the future I am tied to these manufacturers in order to take advantage of the lifetime replacement program.

Why on the price list the water pump (Hepu P544) is priced for $199, if you look at just the water pump same part (Hepu P544) the price is 99$?....Just wondering...

Placed order on Monday and it arrived 4 days later. Packaged well and everything included as advertised. Good price especially with a 20% off coupon. Also ordered the serpentine belt tensioner and front snub mount. These are quality parts for critical engine function. For as much work as it is to do this job, you don't want to be left wondering about the parts you just installed. Installed DIY a week later and a nagging coolant leak is now gone. Engine warms up faster with the new thermostat. Thanks FCP Euro - I'll be back.
