Vehicle Repairs. We've Got What it Takes.

The timing chain is an integral part of the combustion engine. As a connecting element between crankshaft and camshaft, it ensures precise synchronization and often drives other components as well.

If the camshaft and crankshaft do not run synchronously, engine performance is greatly reduced and engine management errors occur. If the timing chain becomes long or very worn, it can skip or even break. This can result in major engine damage.

In the chain drive sector, febi offers a wide range of timing chain kits in addition to individual components. These include all the individual parts required for professional replacement. In addition to the timing chains, these also include chain tensioners, tensioner rails, slide rails, and guide rails.

Quality by Conviction

Unlike a timing belt, a timing chain usually has no recommended maintenance intervals - it is designed for the entire service life of the motor. However, failure to comply with service intervals and the use of incorrect oils can greatly accelerate the wear of a timing chain and its associated components.

Timing chains, and all other related components from febi, are manufactured to the specifications and standards of the original equipment manufacturer to guarantee a perfect fit and long service life. The range includes only timing chains and components that meet or exceed, approval requirements.

Precisely Fitting Production

Anyone who repairs their own car knows the problem: inexpensive replacement parts from the independent parts trade can deviate from the mold and can be difficult to install at the intended location.

Febi makes all the difference: all replacement parts are manufactured precisely and it goes without saying that production tolerances are adhered to. This is the only way to guarantee an optimal fit.
