Initial quality and fit seems very good. The kit is mostly complete, except for two things:
First, as another reviewer mentioned, the replacement retaining clips included with the rear pads are INCORRECT. I was lucky my originals were in good enough shape.
Second, it would be nice if FCP included replacement bolts for the rear caliper carriers, which are the idiotic one-time use bolts VW are so fond of.
Other observations:
One front pad comes with a wear sensor, which my car doesn’t have, so I snipped it off.
Oddly, the protective coating on the rotors is easily dissolved with rubbing alcohol. I didn’t have brake cleaner handy, so I gave them a wipe with IPA and was surprised to see the my turning gray like it was latex paint. Hopefully, it holds up on the non-friction surfaces.
The kit met my expectations and had everything needed with the exception of the new retaining clips for the pads on the rear calipers. The clips were not the same measurements as the stock clips and would not clear the rotor when installing so I had to reuse the old clips.
Item shipped and arrived very quickly. No issues with package, items, or install. Will be using these in the future with fcpeuro's lifetime replacement.
Super happy. Great quality product!!!

Yes, the rear pad retaining clips included with this kit fit the 2016 Volkswagen GTI with the Performance Package. They are the Performance Package-style rear clips, not the hardware used with the smaller standard GTI rear brakes.

Hello, I'm planning on buying this front and rear brake kit for my 2019 GTI Rabbit, but after reading the reviews about missing the rear caliper bolts. Is this true? Do you also sell the rear caliper bolts?

This kit would include pads that will come with the caliper guide bolts. Now if you are looking for caliper mounting bolts to the spindle those are not included. Mounting bolts for the front would be part number N91084901x 4, and the rear would be N91168901 x 4 listed below.
