Audi Timing Chain Kit (V8 4.2L)

If your Audi has a timing chain it will need to be serviced at some point of the vehicle's life. The tensioners and guides usually begin to wear out after the 80k mark creating clatter from the timing chain. Once this starts to happen its best to replace all the timing components to fix the issue and prevent damage.

This complete kit includes the timing guide rails, tensioners and the 4 timing chains that you'll need to complete the job. The major parts to service your timing system are included in this kit to help simplify your parts search.

An engine timing chain is a crucial component in an internal combustion engine that synchronizes the rotation of the crankshaft and camshafts. It ensures that the engine's valves open and close at the proper times during each cylinder's intake and exhaust strokes, maintaining optimal engine performance.
