This 0B5 (DL501) Transmission Service Kit is designed to service your vehicles transmission. It is important to perform the service because the transmission relies on specialized fluid to lubricate components, cool the clutch packs, and operate the hydraulic shifting system. Over time, heat and clutch wear contaminate and break down the fluid, which can lead to rough shifting, hesitation, slipping, or costly mechanical failures if left unchanged. Regular DSG service, typically every 35,000 miles for many Audi models, helps maintain smooth performance, protects the transmission’s internal components, and prevents expensive repairs to the clutches or mechatronic unit.

Tools You Will Need:

• Scan tool to read the temperature of the transmission fluid HERE!
• ATF Filling Adapter HERE!
• Auto Transmission Fluid Filling System Tank HERE!

Important Note:

To perform this repair you will need to remove the crossmember to gain access to the transmission pan. The bolts for the crossmember can vary depending on model. Please review crossmember bolts below.

Torque Specs:

• Transmission Fill Plug: 45 Nm
• Transmission Drain Plug: 45 Nm
• Transmission Pan Bolts: 10 Nm
• External Transmission Filter Housing: 8 Nm
• Gear Oil Fill/Drain Plug: 45 Nm
