Product Information
ATF Filling System Tank
This tank holds 9 liters (10 Qts) of automatic transmission fluid. The filling system dispenses fluid under pressure for fast, safe and clean refilling of ATF reservoirs for most European makes and models.
Features:
- 9 liter (10 quart) tank unit dispenses fluid under pressure for fast, safe and clean refilling of ATF reservoirs on most makes & models
- Built-in manual pump, with locking feature, adds air above the fluid level to prevent aeration
- 1.5 meter (5') clear dispensing hose is removable and features spring protection
- Levered ball valve controls flow and includes hang hook
- Other tank features include 0 - 35 PSI (0 - 2.5 bar) gauge, fill hole, double-handle for carrying, air-valve release and rubberized belt to hold adapters
- Complete range of adapters are available as set or individually
- CTA system is compatible with other brands.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Open filling cap, add fluid, close cap
- Select appropriate adapter for application and connect to hose
- Insert adapter into port of system being filled
- Pump handle to pressurize

Great but used to finding additional tools quicker!
Made for an easy trans fluid change on my C63. It might be a little on the expensive side; but it really is nice and a well put together system.
Ordered this to perform a transmission fluid change on my 2010 Mercedes-Benz CLS550 AMG Sport package. It’s a fantastic product that made the job very easy. I highly recommend this to anyone doing a transmission service!
Excellent quality and worked very easily to fill my 722.9 transmission with the CTA adaptor for Mercedes
Great pump for the right job! Can't do without it.
Worth every penny. There is more than enough going on at one time while installing the 722.9 filter, gasket, oil, tube, drain screw and newly torqued bolts while watching the temperature on the MBII; this filling system tank actually made the hardest part of job fun. Could I have made my on a saved a few bucks? Sure I could have, but I already saved the price of the filling tank once by completing my own service. We drive nice perfectly maintained cars; why would we want to take a short cut ?

What's the recommended cleaning method, assuming different fluids will be used in this and not just transmission fluid? Is denatured alcohol the correct way? Shake it around in there and pump it out to clean the lines and then let it air dry? Rubbing alcohol 91% or 99%? I know rubbing alcohol 90+ can melt certain plastics like on a keyboard, which I'm sure denatured can do worse. Can this handle those to clean them? Thanks

In the past, I have typically used straight dish detergent to clean tools like this (cuts grease and petrolium based products very well), but that doesn't mean there isn't a better option.

I have two X7's which adapter will work for the transmission refill plug. I know my X7 40i die not have much room being on the side with exhaust pipe. Here are the model numbers for both:

Both would have the 8HP transmission and the same fill plug port, the angled connector should be all you need.

This will work to fill the transmission on your vehicles. You are going to need adaptor CTA-7411. You want a 75w90 for both the differential and transmission.

This tool is only for filling. You will need an oil extractor like CTA-6510 for oil changes.

I have a 2001 BMW Z3 Coupe. The transmission fill plug is not very accessible - about two inches only, so this won't work even without the necessary adapter. Can I add more tubing securely at the end to feed it in to the fill hole?
