Noisy stick slip, worse than other semi-metallic pads
Noisy stick slip when nearly stopped. These pads are worse than all other semi-metallic pads I’ve used. I plan to replace these with ceramic pads for reliably quiet operation.

Replacement for Audi Pads
I installed these to replace the original front pads on an Audi Q5 3.0T with 30,000 mi. The original discs were still well within spec at the time of the pad replacement. After several hundred miles on the new pads, there have been no discernible differences in stopping power or brake feel, compared to the factory pads, and braking remains quiet. On the Audi, the wear sensor wire opens long before the pads are at minimum thickness. I believe I could have driven safely on the factory pads for another 5,000 mi. It is too soon to predict the longevity of the new pads, but I suspect it will be similar to the factory units.
