Audi 0AW CVT Transmission Oil Cooler Kit:

An automatic transmission oil cooler keeps the transmission fluid from overheating by removing excess heat generated while the transmission operates. Hot transmission fluid flows through the cooler, where heat is transferred away using air or engine coolant, then the cooled fluid returns to the transmission. This helps maintain smooth shifting, proper lubrication, and hydraulic pressure while protecting internal transmission components from wear and damage caused by excessive heat.

Note:

To perform this repair you will need to remove the crossmember to gain access to the transmission oil cooler. We highly suggest performing a transmission service done while you're here, particularly if the ATF fluid and engine coolant have mixed.
