Audi Water Pump/ Thermostat Kit

This Kit Includes:

  • Thermostat Assembly
  • Coolant Crossover Pipe O-Rings
  • Intake Manifold Gaskets
  • Water Pump
  • G13 Coolant

Before performing this thermostat repair we recommend you inspect the coolant crossover pipe located in the front of the engine. The coolant crossover pipe is prone to failing over time and you will start to see cracking in the pipe causing coolant to leak. You can find the coolant crossover pipe HERE!

An engine water pump is a crucial component of a vehicle's cooling system. It circulates coolant (a mix of antifreeze and water) from the radiator through the engine and back to the radiator to prevent the engine from overheating. The pump is typically driven by the engine via a belt, chain, or gear. A water pump's key functions are to maintain a consistent flow of coolant through the engine block, cylinder heads, and radiator and regulate engine temperature to prevent overheating or freezing in extreme conditions.
