Zimmerman Brake Kit 2015 A8L 4.0T
Great kit and so far I'm really pleased with them. First though while this is a kit, it's not a complete kit if you're using an OEM manual. Audi recommend replacing a number of bolts once you remove them. I was able to get all but 4 and they were 2 on each front wheel for the "bolt for the vibration dampers". I ran out of steam actually. I know for a fact there's a reason Audi recommends replacing them but I'm not an engineer so I'm not going to pretend I know and go into why they need to be replaced. As I said I did do all the rest and there were quite a few that were not included with the kit. This does not diminish the value of the kit nor the quality as to me these are really a high quality brake kit. It did include the pads of course as well as rear wear sensors. I just replaced them over the weekend of 1/11 and 1/12, 2020. So far I have not seen any brake dust from the pads so far so we'll see how long this lasts. Anyway this kit is definitely a good buy, no a great buy. Audi quoted me around $4K for front and rears, and indy shop quoted me $15 to $1700 and I know for a fact Zimmerman quality rotors would not been included in that. So for me it was well worth running down the extra bolts and getting the tools needed for the job. Great purchase!
