Complete kit that will aid in assembling shock and strut assemblies with ease, addresses the most common issue of tightening the top mount nut, allows for proper torque to be applied to the top nut

If you have ever dealt with trying to install a locking nut on a strut mount (especially a recessed nut) you know it can be a real pain. In addition, using an impact gun will not necessarily thread the nut into place. This tool kit deals with all common size strut mount nuts as well as common sized counter holds typically seen on the top of the strut shaft

Includes:

  • 82mm Deep Sockets with a wide range of sizes: 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22 & 24mm sockets
  • 4 Hex bits, 5, 6, 7 & 8mm
  • 1 sliding T-Bar
  • 21mm Go-Through Ratchet
  • Includes 2 Slotted Double-D sockets: (5 x 8) & (6 x 8)

KIT COULD INCLUDE NEEDED TORKS BITS, BUT ANY WAY THE HEAD OF THE RACHET COULDN'T TAKE A 1/2" SUB-COMPACT ON THE OTHER END OF THE BOLT THAT THE RACHECT SOCKET WAS ON! THE HEAD FELL INTO PIECES, SNAP RING LOOKING PIECE AND INTERNAL PARTS ON MY GARGAGE FLOOR!! UNUSABLE! PAID A GOOD PRICE FOR HARBOR FRIEGHT LIKE TOOL?? REPLACED WITH STRUT TOOL KIT FROM ANOTHER VENDOR TO GET THE JOB DONE.

How does this allow for proper torque with a torque wrench?

You can use a torque wrench on the counter hold socket or a torque wrench in conjunction with a crowsfoot on the pass-through socket.
