Audi S6 Clutch Master Cylinder Parts
Hydraulic clutches are similar to brakes. When your foot pushes on the clutch pedal, it transfers hydraulic fluid through the master cylinder, through the lines to the clutch slave cylinder to engage the clutch. A soft clutch pedal may mean you need a new clutch master cylinder, but first be sure your fluid is full and check for leaks throughout the system. You may also have to flush and bleed your the fluid to ensure you have no air in your line. If your clutch pedal is still soft or spongy, its likely you need to replace your clutch master cylinder.
