The Audi R8 was able to achieve 525 horsepower and 391 ft lbs of torque; this made it possible to launch the R8 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds with a 196 mph top speed.The Audi R8 was the first to incorporate LED headlight technology for a production vehicle. The German models have an S-Tronic option only for the R8 powered with a V10. The US R8 V10 Spyder comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission only.
