An Audi Q5 is a compact luxury crossover that was available in 2009 as a smaller version of the popular Q7. The early Q5 models were powered by a 3.2 FSI V6 with a 2.0 TFSI engine option added for the 2011 model year. The Q5 crossover uses the Audi MLP platform which was first used for the Audi A5 coupe. An off-road package for the Q5 features underbody protection panels along with flared fenders. In 2012 the Q5 received a new look with new headlights and taillights.
