Product Information

The transfer case actuator motor is responsible for engaging the AWD system on your Volkswagen. The actuator resides on the transfer case and serves as an electrical device to either engage or disengage the AWD system. If your AWD system is not functioning properly, we recommend inspecting the actuator motor circuit to include but not limited to fuses, relays, and voltage at the motor to help diagnose a faulty unit.

Transfer Case Motor

A transfer case motor is part of a vehicle's drivetrain that helps transfer power from the transmission to the axles. A bad transfer case can also damage the transmission by causing uneven power distribution and increased strain on the transmission components. A faulty transfer case motor can cause several issues, including:
