VW Audi Clutch Kit - Valeo 52405617

I purchased this due to a Slave Cylinder/Throwout bearing failure. This was my first major component purchase from FCP Euro and I'm disappointed, to say the least. While I know the clutch and the pressure plate to be great for your lightly modded or stock 1.8t my gripes come with the rest of the "kit" This kit doesn't come with any replacement screws or a clutch alignment dowel to ease the installment of your new clutch kit. So I'm forced to buy new screws for the pressure plate from my local dealership. That was the least of my problems given the fact that the actual part I needed came broken due to terrible packaging from Valeo or FCP Euro. Packaging arrangements included pressure plate and clutch together wrapped in plastic and the throwout bearing by itself with a few measly pieces of paper for protection. I never liked FCP Euro's lack of information on products in the description tab as it usually only contains information about the manufacturer, not only that a lot of products here lack reviews so while you can be sure you are getting the right part you are kinda going in blind. They do make up for it in their lifetime warranty

Great clutch kit. I purchased it from ECS a while back in 2019 and they wouldn’t warranty it with it only having about 10,000 miles. The plastic ring on the back of the clutch broke. I decided to buy from FCP just for the self assurance of their lifetime warranty.
