Left Hand Side
I would highly recommend getting these as opposed to the aftermarket plastic ones. This will fix the left hand side wiper having poor contact with the window which was resulting in smearing and impossible visibility. Install is very easy just don't tighten too much or too little. I'm still having trouble with the blade getting stuck in the middle of the window or going off to the door time to time, but that seems to be an issue with the mount and not the wiper arm itself.

Wiper contact
This part will fix the issue of the wiper blades not completely contacting the windshield in the middle, leaving a streaky patch.

Instantly fixed the ever-annoying issue of my wiper blade lifting off of the windshield. Driving in the rain or snow isn't such a bad experience now.

Wipe arm
I bought one of the aftermarket wipe arms for my drivers side. Total disappointment because the don't stay glued to the window completely when wiping. I spent the money to get the Genuine Volvo arm and I'm glad I did. Money well spent.

This arm has no splines, so how does the motor shaft that still has splines grab and hold the arm? The reason most people are replacing the arm is because the splines on the old arm have wore out.

We don't see anything specific in the product data regarding the splines (or lack thereof), but it appears Volvo intends on the tightness of the nut to be enough to keep enough tension on the arm. This is the part they would install at the dealership.
