Volvo Washer Pump - Skandix 31349228

I replaced my windshield washer pump as my 2016 XC70 T5 2.5TPremier 100K miles, without headlamp washers, as it stopped working for the front windshield while the rear still worked. The stream had seemed weak lately but then the front stopped sparaying. You can hear the pump run when activated but no fluid for the front windshiled. I examined this Skandix one next to the OE and theya re exactly the same. Same Ford label, same part numbers on top ,side and bottom. Same dimensions. December 2025 I did not take the bumper off. I removed the 4 screws on the front of drivers wheel arch , The 1 screw farther into the fender skirt on the front bottom(lowest point , halfway in ) and the 2 screws underneath the front bumper. With the front of the fender skirt and the lower bumper panel pulled away a few inches, you can then pry the pump out of the reservior, let the fluid leak out and then pull the connected pump out where the fender to bumper connect (4 screws in a row-just in front of wheel) . Then unplug electrical and immediately plug into new pump. Then twist and remove 2 rubber hoses ( 1 at a time so you dont lose hold of them and they go in the correct hose barb of new pump). My white hose barb rubber pipe had a white marking 1 inch above connection.
