A window channel on a car is the rubber or felt-lined track that guides and supports the side windows as they move up and down. It ensures the glass stays properly aligned within the door frame, provides a tight seal against wind and rain, and reduces rattling or vibration when the vehicle is in motion. The channel also helps protect the window glass from scratches by cushioning it during operation.
