Volvo Wheel Spacer Set - H&R 30356330

And I can’t find your name on my invoice, I’m so sorry!! This piggybacks a review for the 25mm bolt-on style spacers that I used for the rear of my Volvo XC60, with these 15mm plate style used up front. These are plug and play exactly as listed on the website but be warned, FCP Euro knows that if you are switching from bolts to wheel studs, and you are adding spacers in between the hub and wheel, you will obviously need extra length of stud in order to maintain safe purchase by the nut every time you swap wheel sets. Longer studs are safer and simpler so they naturally bundle the 90mm studs with their spacer kits, cuz you can’t go wrong by going long, they reckon; however, as they state in plain print that will leave a fair amount of stud threads exposed. As long as you are okay with them potentially protruding from the face of the wheel, which they may depending upon the wheel design, then longer studs are easier to line up wheels on In my case I wanted to keep them flush or countersunk a bit, to look stock, as long as I had sufficient threads to work with. This is where my man’s computer skills paid the bills, we did some math to determine that if we’re adding 15mm spacers to 60mm stock bolts, we’d want 75mm or so, then had to confirm sizing, and thread pitch were going to match my hubs; lo and behold, FCP Euro had 78mm in stock and they’re the perfect length to fit my OE 18” winter and 20” summer wheels. Each lug nut seats down with plenty of thread meat remaining, and the bullet noses of the studs are still below the surface of the wheels. I got the exact look, performance, and wheel-swapping convenience I was looking for, with a single phone call, the transaction was smooth enough to complete from traffic [no worries, I pulled over to read CC number, used my flashers too!]. And while I requested expedited shipping the parts began arriving THE NEXT DAY, and I had spacers, studs, nuts, everything I needed in two days. As a result I drove my mountain car to the mountains exactly as planned, on its brand new ice & snow tires, which were able to be balanced, and all four wheel aligned to proper spec, all because the spacers made it on time. This is my first Volvo and my first time doing business with FCP Euro and man, they set the bar freakin high right off the bat. Corny as it sounds I actually look forward to an enhanced ownership experience by having a vendor partner who cares about the product, knows their sh&*t, and has a killer Logistics Team - thank you so much!!
