This turn signal housing goes on the passenger side of the vehicle and fits all 740 models 90-92 and some 940 models. If you have a Volvo 940; this will ONLY fit your vehicle if you do NOT have a fog light between your headlight assembly and grille.
A turn signal light, also known as an indicator or blinker, is a critical part of a vehicle’s safety system that signals your intent to turn or change lanes. The lights are located at the front, rear, and sometimes on the sides of the vehicle, and they flash on and off when the driver activates the turn signal lever. The turn signals inform other drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians of the vehicle’s movements to help prevent accidents.
Turn Signal Light Failure Symptoms- Turn Signal Light Not Blinking: The most obvious sign of failure is when the turn signal doesn't blink or activate at all. This can be caused by a blown bulb, faulty wiring, or a bad turn signal switch.
- Rapid Flashing: If the turn signal blinks much faster than normal, this often indicates a burned-out bulb.

Replaced original after 20 years of use, fit very well and has lasted 2 years of intense abuse. I live out in the boonies and frequent uneven roads, pothole laden roads, gravel roads, and dirt farm roads, and this unit has held up to the abuse. Cost effective and durable, can't beat it. 10/10
