Steering Tie Rod End

The tie rods of your vehicle play a critical role as they're the link between the power steering rack and pinion and the wheel spindle. Tie rod ends contain ball joints that tend to wear out over time due to constant wear and tear. When the ball joints within the tie rod wear out, it allows for play within the wheels which can throw off your alignment and cause uneven tire wear. When replacing worn tie rod ends its always recommend to replace them in pairs as well as to perform an alignment.

Meyle quality.
Replaced 21yo tie rods with these and for $15 the differences is great. Much more control and predictability in the steering especially near full lock.

Tie rod end
The hardest part was taking off what seemed like the original tie rod end!! The new one fit perfectly!

Good option for tie rods
For the price, you can't go wrong. They are good quality tie rods backed by FCP's warranty. Ball joints feel good and no more clunking in my steering!

This is listed for a 2000 Volvo C70 but it does not say anything at all about if it fits the SMI steering rackm or the TRW rack, why is that? I hav a 2000 volvo c70 convertible 2.3 turbo that has the SMI steering rack,will these MEYLE ones work for both LH and RH if i buy the set?

The inner tie rods and bellows are rack specific, the outer tie rods are the same for both racks. You will need QTY 1: MEY-5160205548, and QTY 1: MEY-5160205549 to replace both sides.
