Product Information
The tail shaft bushing is the final main structural oil bearing that the drive shaft coming out of rear of the transmission ride on, making it a prime wear item especially on high mileage vehicles. When the bushing wears out, you will be able to feel driveshaft play right where it meets the back of the transmission, and this can cause vibrations at high speed and even sometimes cause the oil seal to wear prematurely.
This kit includes the tailshaft bushing (which must be pressed in), as well as the rear oil seal and the front gasket for the tailshaft extension housing.
Dont forget to also buy the correct transmission fluid for your vehicle.
