With age sway bar links, particularly links with ball joints, can develop play and will make knocking noises over bumps or when rocking the vehicle from side to side. If your sway bar links are in rough shape we recommend immediate replacement to restore handling. Always replace sway bar links in pairs.

Not the easiest install due to the double ended nuts and new grommets but got them together and torqued down; after 2 years service, no problems.

Another reviewer reported that this link kit is not as rebust as the OEM items, I didn't find this to be the case. Perhaps the suppliers have changed but I found mine to be equal to the originals. Another reviewer reported that he couldn't attach the bottom nut when installing and I'm thinking he attempted to install these with the wheels unsupported, this puts the links at an extream angle and not square to the lower control arm thus making the installation difficult. Install them with the wheels supported and things will go smoothly.

not as robust as the OEM rods, but us owners of very old 740s don't have a choice anymore as Volvo doesn't sell the OEM any longer. Just glad that somebody even sells them. Thanks fcp.

These (or at least the ones I received) were URO Brand. I had some issue with the installation, particularly with the retaining washers. It would seem I was able to get the top on, but not the bottom, or vice versa. I used the old washers on the tired, old end links I had, and it bolted up like a charm. Two weeks in, no squeaking, groaning, or general discomfort. Seem to be holding up ok.

good replacement
The sway bar link rubber bushings were completely worn out on my 940,replacing these has stiffened up the handling noticeably. Although the rubber bushings looks slightly different than some other kits,it works as intended. I was unable to find this type of sway bar link anywhere locally,thanks FCP for having it in stock!
