Product Information

A complete kit of Bilstein OE style B4 front strut inserts, mounts, and hardware for a complete front damper service on the SPA chassis Volvo XC60.

Torque:

  • Front shock absorber bearing, to Body, 24 Nm
  • Shock Absorber Fork, to Shock Absorber (pinch bolt), 60 Nm
  • Shock Absorber Fork to Front Lower Control Arm - [Stage 1: 140 Nm], - [Stage 2: 180 °]

NOTE because of the design of the strut fork, the lower bolt must be tightened with the car on the ground, or with the wheels in the 'normal position' to avoid tearing the bushing once the car settles down.

  • Excessive body roll in corners: The car leans excessively when turning, feeling unstable
  • Uneven tire wear: Irregular wear patterns on the tires, often with cupping or scalloping due to inconsistent contact with the road
