If there is play in the front suspension between the control arm and wheel spindle your ball joint will need to be replaced. This joint is a critical connection point between the wheel spindle and the lower control arm.

Decent replacement part
I was satisfied with the quality of the ball joints as I looked at them. They did come with bolts; however, I was a little disappointed to see that they did not include nylon nuts. However, we will see whether this makes a difference. I have not noticed a difference to the O’Reilly ones that were on there, however both boots were torn on those, so I hope these boots hold up better.

Is this part for both passenger and driver side as the lower ball joint? Or are there two different ones?

These would be the same left or right, so two needed per application.
