Annoying rubbing noise while the steering wheel is turned full lock?

Steering rack limiters are installed from the factory to prevent the tire from rubbing on the inside fender liner. Throughout years of continued use the limiter won't compress and will not offer the same limits. You will need to replace the steering rack stop to retain the original steering limit.

Its also worth noting that if you fit aftermarket wheels or change tire sizes the steering limit will be effected. You can simply fix this by replacing with a thicker stop. This will help with reducing tire rub that usually occurs when changing out the factory wheels and tires.
