This is my second one that I bought. The first one broke due to someone taking the power steering out of the car. When I bought the car back the joint cracked at the aluminum clamping to the steering column while parallel parking. Not advisable for manual steering but wonderful replacement for power steering .

Mechanic noticed excess play in my daughter's 1987 Volvo 240 steering. Replaced coupling over a year ago with this Pro Parts and working great.
