Love these shocks. They didn't come with boots, but the old ones moved right over. They are just a little strong in the back, but that is exactly what I wanted.
Like others have said, you will definitely experience a noticeable uptick in handling around corners. There is a HUGE decrease in body roll in the rear, and the rear feels much more planted around corners. I didn't notice that much of an increase in ride harshness; I already have a stiffer setup on my R-Design. Worth it to upgrade if you don't live in Seattle or NYC (for some reason, these are the two worst roads I have ever experienced...).
I got these for my 2010 Volvo V70 (3.2L engine). Overall pleased with the purchase of these shocks. Note that these will provide a more "BMW" feel vs. OEM Volvo. This means more road feedback, firm handling, improved control through turns. It also means less dampening - if you are driving on well maintained roads you will be happy with these for your V70 but if you are routinely driving on rougher roads I'm not sure these are for you.
Yet to install but the price was right and professionally shipped as always.
