Volvo Shift Knob Aluminum (XC90) - Genuine Volvo 8675628
An automatic transmission shift lever knob is the handle located at the top of the gear selector in vehicles with automatic transmissions. It provides the driver with a grip point to shift between gears. In many cars, it also houses buttons or triggers that must be pressed to release the shifter.
Automatic Transmission Shift Lever Knob Failure Symptoms- Loose or wobbly shift knob – feels unstable or detaches from the lever.
- Stuck or difficult button operation – shift-lock button fails to depress or release properly.
- Difficulty shifting gears – knob misalignment or internal wear affects smooth gear selection.
