Windshield Seal

A windshield seal is the rubber or urethane material that secures the windshield to the vehicle body, keeping out water, air, and debris while also reducing wind noise and helping maintain structural integrity. Over time, exposure to sun, weather, and vibration can cause the seal to deteriorate.

Windshield Seal Failure Symptoms
  • Water or air leaks – moisture intrusion or whistling wind noise at speed.
  • Visible wear – cracking, shrinking, or separation of the seal.
  • Compromised safety – loose or poorly secured windshield, sometimes with interior fogging from trapped moisture.

Hi would you be really clear in your reply and explain where these pads are supposed to be applied in relation to the lower windshield cowl end trim pieces...SKU: KIT-8663896KT. where do I apply the pads please?

This doesn't look like the rubber seal that goes on the left and right side of the windshield. Top to bottom. Mine has all cracked and broken off .....

No, this is not the full-length left or right windshield-side seal. 8663895 is a small lower-corner sealing pad/end extension, while the cracked top-to-bottom pieces are separate, side-specific windshield/A-pillar moldings; please send your full VIN to service@fcpeuro.com so we can identify the correct left- and right-side part numbers.
