v50 Roof rail kit.
The kit is pretty straight forward and has excellent install directions. Be sure to have the tools you'll need for install.... - A saw capable of cutting through the Metal roof trim piece, which you must cut to fit the roof rack into place. - Torque wrenches for tightening down the rails. - Clamps the hold to roof trim in place while cutting it. - Tape measure, for measuring the distance that needs to marked, prior to cutting the roof trim. - A trim removal tool for taking off the roof trim. Last but not least, do not be afraid to brake the clips holding the trim on currently. You have replacements in the package. You must brake the old clips to get the trim piece off. Give yourself time for this install, and do not rush because you want to be sure make the most precise cuts on the roof trim that you can. Neat cuts will give this upgrade a clean factory look. And if you mess up .... You will be buying a new piece of roof trim from volvo, which will cost you another arm, as if this set of rails wasn't enough already. After getting the aluminum I wasn't so sure if I liked the look initially, but it has grown on me and blends in well, as it is the same color as most of the rims that come on this car. I wouldn't get black... It just looks dull look.
