I was not sure on how to update my review from when I received these, but I can say they are freaking amazing. No wind noise when not loaded, and with my surfboards on them barely noticeable. They actually in my opinion enhance the appearance of my two XC70s. I will be adding the snowboard accessory to my T6 Platinum AWD model next, and on my 3.2 Premier Plus the bike rack. If there was a place to leave a review on how well FCP Euro handle my request I would write it on there, but I do no see it here on their site, an will just say they actually sent me a new set due to the fact the first set I received was used and the rubber gasket had been previously cut incorrectly. I am supper stoked, as I really just wanted the rubber gasket, but now having a second set that goes on my 2012 Volvo XC70 3.2 Premier Plus model makes me a lifelong customer of theirs.
I just received these today, and was a little disappointed as they were clearly used prior to me receiving them. I did not see on the site that they would be sending me used roof racks. If they were going to do this, then they should had been deeply discounted. This is the reason for the 3 stars, as I do not know how they will handle the wind since the soft rubber was already cut badly. I did take pictures and will be sending it to customer service. Now for the good, is they do look good, and sit nice in low in the trough of the rails, I hope this will help keep the wind noise down to a minimum. Also I will give FCPEuro an A+ in shipping, these came with in a day of ordering them, which I was highly impressed with. I will update my review once I know how they handle highway wind noise.
Installed on my 2010 XC70. Quality parts. Easy installation. Quiet at highway speed and very secure connection to my roof rails. Looks great, as well, and makes it easy to throw on Thule box or canoe for weekend fun.
