Traditionally, parking brake systems were operated by either a hand or foot-operated lever which was linked to either a drum brake or disc setup via a parking brake cable. If the parking brake cable has become worn out by either stretching, seizing, or snapping, your parking brake system will not function properly.

Excellent replacement part, should include the backing plate clips, though, took off a star. Installed perfectly, made a fiddly job easier.

Great But Make Double Check Item
I bought 2 cables from ebay because they said it fit all V70's. The V70XC has longer cables and they are not compatible with V70 and S70. Give FCP a call and they will make sure you get the right ones. The price also cannot be beat!! Cost is more then 3x at the "stealership" When replacing cables make sure to re-adjust them as new cables will stretch. Furthermore always replace both cables because it is almost impossible to properly adjust an old and new cable.
