Parking Brake Cable

The Parking brake, or sometimes referred to as an emergency brake, can be comprised of a mechanical or electronic system. Traditionally, parking brake systems were operated by either a hand or foot-operated lever which was linked to either a drum brake or disc setup via a parking brake cable. If the parking brake cable has become worn out by either stretching, seizing, or snapping, your parking brake system will not function properly.

What’s the difference between this cable and 30793820? For 2007 V70R.

These are not the same cable. 30793820 is the longer cable commonly cataloged for P2 V70 AWD/XC70 applications and is specifically listed for the 2007 V70R AWD, while 30793825 is slightly shorter and is more commonly associated with other V70 applications; because some catalogs list both numbers for a 2007 V70R, please send the full VIN to service@fcpeuro.com and we can confirm which one your car requires before ordering.
