Volvo Oil Cooler Hose Assembly - Genuine Volvo 3528201

NOTE:

  • Oil Cooler Line-Lower (Inlet).
  • You will have to order O-ring p/n 968757 at the oil cooler thermostat side separately.

Hose/lines can become brittle over time leading to leakage, or worse yet complete failure. Be sure to make it part of your oil change routine to check the condition of hoses, belts and fluids as part of preventative maintenance.

The new hose does come with o-rings at each end but IMO, you will need the additional o-ring for the other oil cooler line where it attaches to the lower block as that part needs to be removed to get the torx socket onto the screw for the bracket that holds the plate. Both pipe inlets were very corroded on that lower block so I had to remove it and scrape off all the corrosion to get the new o-rings to slide in properly. I'd also advise getting the rectangular rubber seal for that block part but I didn't anticipate that so I re-used it with sealant instead which worked.

Not the easiest job to do to say the least. But part fits perfect. You also don't need the buy a separate o-ring since it came with the hose line.
