It works
It was a fairly simple and straight forward replacement, and has worked without issue since replacing it 6 months ago.

shade tree mechanic
the netural safety switch does go out with time and age. so this is a great replacement . keep in mind the pig tail connector may change. Also you may have to cut and solder . so keep that in mind and if you cut the pig tail clip dont throw it a way . if you have another other volvos you can use it . keep in mind the cost is good great .

Good replacement!
This was a good replacement to the old Neutral Safety Switch. So far it's still working. I do need to adjust it a little because it's somewhat out of alignment.

If this is bad, with a charged battery the car will not start or crank. The lights will work with the ignition on. Sometimes Jostling the shifter will remedy the situation. If the car will start after shaking the shifter then most likely there is a problem with the shifter alignment or the Neutral Safety Switch has a bad connection internally.
