A mud flap (also called a splash guard) is a flexible or rigid panel installed behind a vehicle’s wheels. Its main role is to protect the vehicle, passengers, and other road users from debris, mud, rocks, and water thrown up by the rotating tires. Mud flaps are common on trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles, but are also found on cars for extra protection.

Mud Flap Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Loose or missing mud flap – detaches due to broken fasteners or damage.
  • Cracked, torn, or warped flap – from road debris, impacts, or weathering.
  • Uneven tire spray – mud, water, or rocks hitting the body more than usual.

Comes with instructions, screws. Do not bother drilling and installing the rivet that they want you to put on. Screw do perfectly fine. Great mudflaps
