Wiper Blade

We've all had that annoying streak left behind from our wipers that distracts our attention from the road. Lets Face it, windshield wipers are a critical safety feature because if you can't see, no one is safe! Wiper blades clear dirt and grim from our windshields and keep it clear in inclement weather. If your wipers aren't working perfectly, we recommend to replace them immediately, for everyone's sake.

Wiper Blade Failure Symptoms
  • Streaking
  • Loud Audible Noise
  • Smearing
  • Scratched Windshield

Quick replacement
Just bought a 01 V70 XC and it's headlight wiper blades were old and brittle. These blades were the best option for me. My local Volvo dealership wanted $26 for replacement blades. These blades were the lowest price and they were really easy to install.

This fit my 2004 volvo xc70 when other options did not. It is an excellent OEM solution.

Unusable
The pin in the center of the wiper arm is the wrong diameter (Much too small) for my 2004 Volvo S60's headlight wiper arm, the metal retaining strips along the wiper arm are installed backwards, and the metal is visibly much more flimsy than the OEM volvo replacements. Stay away.

Headlight Wipers - Good Enough
These were slightly different from the ones that came off the car. Appeared slightly shorter blade surface and the post didn't fit as positively into the wiper arm as the one it replaced. But they are functionally acceptable and a good value.

Almost right...
The frames are fine. The rubber is fine. The rails are fine. But they are often assembled wrong. When you get these, be sure to review how the rubber blade + steel rails is inserted into the black frame. I recently bought 2 sets of these. They appeared to be missing the indentations along the rails where the blade frame ends can grab and hold onto the rubber blade, so the blade_rails would slip out. I disassembled and found that the steel rails did have indentations, but whoever installed the blade into the frame inserted the steel rails backwards. Be sure the indentations are facing the right way, and snug it up with a pair of pliers.
