Better than original - all parts included
This handle looks and feels better than the original one on the car. It comes with everything you need to replace your old one including the rubber gasket. Replaced it in 10 minutes using a 10mm socket and a small torx bit for the interior trim. Fitment is perfect.

Just like new!
I wish I could get creative and write a really cool review but I’ll settle with this. Anyway this thing reminds me of what the hatch feel was like when the car was new. Mine broke due to operator error of a passenger and this got the car fixed up good as new!!!

Volvo Rear Glass Hatch Handle — Fits Like a GLOVE!
This thing fits PERFECTLY (better than the glove that O.J. pretended didn’t fit him). Easy “off” with the old and easy “on” with the new. Heck, my rear glass closes so soundly and so tightly now, that this replacement (Genuine Volvo) might be better than the one that came on the car from the factory in Ghent, Belgium. FCP Euro ROCKS for reasonable prices, kick ass customer service, and quick, to my house shipping! Now, on to replace that failing passenger side drive axle (kind of like when G&R replaced Axel Rose; nobody wanted to do it, but it had to be done, ‘cause he was making too much noise, kinda like my passenger side outer CV Joint).

Just as described mine broke where they usually do at the little plastic tabs where the metal screws sit. Bought a "New" one from ebay that had the same damage as mine so I returned it.... Bought this one brand new shouldn't have cheaped out the first time!

I see no additional mounting plate. There are studs attached to this unit that function as the mounting points.
