Makes fuel delivery module replacement easy
This tool is well worth the investment compared to the alternatives using screwdrivers and hammers. It allows for even downward pressure to get the mason jar ring threads started when the fuel tank has swelled from fuel exposure. It also allows for proper torque setting for tightening the ring.

Solid Tool
Quality built tool. Fit and worked perfect. Replaced fuel pump. With two lock rings in P2 model R worth having to remove lock rings. Made removal and install a breeze.

Volvo Fuel Tank Lock Ring Wrench - CTA 2493
perfect fit, good quality. Far better than risking breaking the locking ring by tapping it off with a hammer and chisel. Using the tool guarantees even tension on the locking ring when re-tightening, ensuring a proper seal

A necessary tool for fuel sendung unit / pump work.
The lock rings are on very seriously tight. This tool is a must have for removing the fuel pump and sending unit lock rings. Even with this tool, a long handled breaker bar is necessary.

A must have if you need to replace your fuel pump. Getting the pump and this tool from FCP will save you a bundle if you can DIY. Remember to unhook the neg battery cable.
